Senior Manager/Director, BEPS Pillar 2

The Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager or Tax Director specialising in BEPS Pillar 2 (GLOBE Rules) to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of international tax laws and regulations, with specific expertise in the BEPS Pillar 2 framework. Our clients role requires a technically proficient and agile professional capable of navigating the dynamic tax environment in the UAE, providing high-quality
advisory services to clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Advisory – Provide expert guidance on BEPS Pillar 2 (GLOBE Rules) implementation in the UAE, ensuring alignment with international tax standards.
  • Client Engagement – Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs and deliver tailored tax solutions, particularly for Pillar 2 compliance and strategic planning.
  • Regulatory Updates – Monitor and analyse international tax developments, particularly BEPS initiatives, advising clients on potential impacts and required actions.
  • Project Management – Lead and oversee tax advisory projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely execution and high-quality deliverables.
  • Team Leadership – Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Stakeholder Management – Engage with regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and other key stakeholders to advocate for client interests and stay informed on regulatory changes.
  • Thought Leadership – Contribute to industry insights through articles, presentations, and training sessions on BEPS Pillar 2 and related topics.


Skills and attributes:

  • Education – Advanced degree in Taxation, Law, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional Certification – CPA, CA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience – 8–10 years of relevant experience in international tax advisory, with specialized expertise in BEPS Pillar 2 (GLOBE Rules).
  • Technical Skills – Deep understanding of international tax laws, BEPS initiatives, and transfer pricing principles.
  • Analytical Skills – Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to interpret complex tax regulations and provide actionable solutions.
  • Communication Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex tax concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Interpersonal Skills – Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and regulatory bodies.
  • Agility – Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment and adapt to changing priorities.
