Information Collection and Use

If you are a candidate, we will collect several different types of personal information from you in order to provide you with the best possible employment opportunities.  This personal data may include, but is not limited to:

  • Email address

  • First name and last name

  • Phone number

  • Education details

  • Employment history

  • Immigration status

If you are one of our client organisations, we will need to collect and use information about you, or individuals at your organisation in the process of providing a service to you.  Andrew Vinell Tax Recruitment Limited will also store information related to previous business with you including job descriptions, email communications, job interviews conducted and previous placements made.  

Usage Data

We may also collect information from our website. This usage data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When we obtain your personal information from sources such as LinkedIn we will contact you via email within 30 days with a copy of our privacy notice.  We will also make reference to where your personal data was obtained from and for what purpose we intend to retain and process your information.

Client information is obtained either directly via telephone or email communication or via online job advertisements, referrals or networking.

Andrew Vinell Tax Recruitment Limited will process personal data for legitimate business interests including:

  • To maintain a business relationship with candidates and client organisations

  • To share your information with client organisations following a successful match of skills with vacancy requirements.

Data Storage and Processing

All personal data held about you will be processed by our staff / contractors in the United Kingdom, and accessed via our cloud-based storage system powered by Google.  Andrew Vinell Tax Recruitment Limited will take all steps reasonable to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organisation or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

If you are a candidate, your personal information is only shared with prospective employers.  Your information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside United Kingdom and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to United Kingdom and process it there.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

Service Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analysing how our Service is used.

This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualise and personalise the ads of its own advertising network.

You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

It is the nature of our business that the purpose for which we retain candidate information is often an ongoing purpose.  We often support candidates with placements over many years and potentially spanning whole careers.  We understand the importance of maintaining accurate and current personal data and ensure this is maintained through regular contact with our candidates and clients.  You can at any time, request we stop processing your data, and request we delete information we hold in accordance with your rights. 

Data Subject Access Requests

It is your right to confirm what information we hold about you at any time, and request us to modify, update or delete such information. The company will respond to your request within 30 days. All requests of this nature should be made to Andrew Vinell at
