About Andrew

Andrew started his career on the KPMG Tax Graduate Scheme in London where he spent 7 years in a client facing tax role. He later moved into industry, working directly for the Head of Tax at Saatchi & Saatchi before returning to practice as a Tax Manager at EY UK.

In 2007, Andrew moved into Tax Recruitment, working for two of the most highly regarded tax recruitment agencies in London.  For more than a decade, he focused on three specialist areas; Indirect Tax, Corporate Tax, and Transfer Pricing.

In November 2018, Andrew set up his own recruitment company; Andrew Vinell Tax Recruitment Ltd (now commonly referred to as AVTR Recruitment) with the primary focus on UK tax roles for a range of Big 4 practice firms and industry clients.  Andrew was soon able to combine his love of travelling with his love of recruitment and connect with clients in multiple countries, opening up opportunities for candidates to make life changing career moves beyond the UK market.

In 2023, Andrew set up AVTR International Recruitment LLC-FZ based in Dubai and now heads up two teams of hard working and committed professionals servicing client and candidate needs across the world; Australia, Europe, New York and The Middle East.
