They already have thousands of internal and external users on the platform, however, this is just the start of their vision. Our client is looking to scale the platform across every area of client delivery.
The firm’s clients are going through unprecedented change due to increased pressures from regulators, cost pressures and the rapid advance of technology. This means that finance and tax functions need to evolve and adapt their current processes to be fit for the future. This has given our client an excellent opportunity to reimagine how they can meet the needs of clients using emerging technologies to enhance their services.
The role
As part of the Growth team, you will be key to implementing the platform vision across the firm’s UK Tax & Law services. The successful candidate will be focused on enabling the platform and associated solutions across multiple Tax & Law sub-service lines. This will include developing the strategy for platform adoption with Service line leadership, collaborating with the key stakeholders to implement that strategy, ensure the firm’s teams and clients are getting the most value they can from the platform, actively influencing the required change management process, and looking to continuously improve the technology enabled services.
Key responsibilities
- Work with leadership to develop a scalable strategy around how Tax & Law sub-service lines will adopt the platform as part of their service delivery
- Manage and prioritise a portfolio of projects that align to the strategy of driving platform adoption across Tax & Law, including achieving operational excellence, innovation, and commercial impact
- Build relationships with the key stakeholders across Tax & Law who will be sponsors for the portfolio of projects
- Be responsible for leading workshops with core stakeholders around the adoption of the platform, how it can improve their service delivery and identifying further opportunities for collaboration.
- Create a repeatable product enablement plan that allows sub-services lines to adopt the platform easily and quickly as part of their service delivery
- Work with service line experts to develop new and innovative technology-enabled solutions which utilise the platform
- Be the technology lead on client pitches, providing insightful demos, managing the commercial approach, and supporting client onboarding
- Managing the upskilling and training of platform experts within the sub-service lines – influence how those champions then roll out training across their networks
- Grow a team to support the platform activation strategy
- Build a communications plan / reference materials for the platform to keep internal users up to date with new features and services
- Develop measures to show the impact of rolling out the platform across service lines
- Working with the wider Innovation Hive team to provide input and feedback that helps shape the ongoing development of solutions / platform
Skills and attributes

- Experience managing complex projects with an understanding of the methodologies/ processes for project and change management
- A passion for technology and a desire to learn more about how technology can be used to help support clients
- Strong communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and willingness to share / challenge ideas and build strong relationships
- Experience managing and coaching junior team members including managing their workload and providing constructive and timely feedback
- A strong commercial acumen with the ability to apply this to developing, implementing, and measuring a long term and sustainable strategy

Key experience
- Experience of a similar role in a comparable firm is helpful – tax or tax technology experience is beneficial but passion for working with technology is essential
- Leadership experience and a proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills that allow you to have impactful interactions with a range of different stakeholders
- Ability to work under limited supervision in unstructured environments
- ACA / CTA or other equivalent qualification
