The role
Our client has the need for resources to support the Tax Strategy and Transformation team with the current and future UAE CT and Global Minimum Tax Impact Assessment projects and implementations.
This is an opportunity for someone to learn and personally develop / progress a career in strategic transformation projects, while playing a pivotal role on specific initiatives and taking on small transformation project responsibilities.
This role is suited to someone who excels in stakeholder engagement and communication, can work from a limited briefing, is creative, digitally minded and not scared to challenge the norm.
Skills and attributes
- Currently at senior associate/manager level
- Independent and proactive
- Enthusiastic about and affinity with technology (coding skills not required, but could be useful to have)
- Experience with direct tax automation projects is preferred
- Experience with tax accounting automation projects is desirable
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team in business transformation projects including:
- Support in preparation and facilitation of large and complex transformation workshops.
- Drafting of as-is processes, future states, status reports, etc with guidance from the project leader.
- Help in the management of assigned projects following the transformation framework.
- Preparation of presentations for the partner sponsor and leadership when needed.
- Assist in the scoping of the project including the Business Case and identifying the key stakeholders.
- Engage with stakeholders across the business.
- Support the team as needed with varying activities to help in the execution of our client’s strategy.
