The Role
Our Client is looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior R&D Consultant/Manager to join a highly experienced and rapidly growing team. You will have the opportunity to grow and progress within the business and work with a variety of clients who are at the front line of developing cutting-edge technology. We’re looking for someone with experience in building and maintaining close relationships with the ATO/AusIndustry.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality assurance: maintain impeccable standards and deliver a best-in-class R&D tax compliance service.
- Contribute to the efficient and successful delivery of R&D claims to the firms clients.
- Build relationships both within the business and externally with clients, identifying opportunities and maximising growth.
- Contribute to winning new work by proactively managing existing clients (whether through providing high-quality client care or through our partner program) and contribute to winning new business.
Skills and qualifications
- 3 – 5 Years’ experience as an R&D Tax Consultant/Senior Consultant / Manager
- A proactive approach to maintaining knowledge of recent and future legislative changes in the Australian and/or New Zealand R&D Tax landscape.
- Team player with the ability to develop and inspire a team of consultants.
- Strong financial and R&D tax skills and keen to develop further.
- Ability to identify areas of risk and carry out an effective review.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and pragmatically
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Science, Technology, Law, Commerce or a related discipline
- Experience as an R&D tax practitioner; leading, managing, and preparing R&D claims.
- Experience in project managing and coordinating delivery of high quality services.
- Strong writing and communication skills
