The non-contentious construction division at our client’s Doha branch represents a diverse range of industry players in the Middle East, encompassing regions like KSA, Qatar, Abu-Dhabi, and Dubai. They routinely cater to international developers, special purpose vehicle (SPV) project entities, proprietors, lenders, constructors, and equipment providers involved in the most prominent real estate and construction ventures within the Middle East.

An exceptional opportunity has emerged for an eager and driven candidate to join their expanding non-contentious construction team at the Doha office. The chosen applicant will provide support related to non-litigious real estate and construction matters across various projects within real estate development and investment, energy, transportation, and infrastructure sectors within the Middle East.

Skills and attributes

  • This position is ideal for individuals with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Solid academic foundation.
  • While familiarity with the Middle East’s infrastructure and real estate sectors is advantageous, it is not obligatory.
  • Scottish or English qualified preferable
  • Previous involvement in creating and negotiating contractual documentation for real estate and construction is preferred.
  • Experience with FIDIC-based Construction Contracts (and other primary standard forms), consultant appointments, and collateral warranties is advantageous.
  • A broader understanding of EPC contracts, operational and maintenance agreements, and project contracts could be helpful, though not mandatory.
  • Adept at collaborative work.
  • Driven and self-motivated
