Our client is part of a global network of firms that offers Audit, Tax, Consulting, Deal Advisory and Technology services. They have one of the leading Indirect Tax practices in the UK, and work as a national practice providing advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Green taxes) to a broad range of business sectors including large multi-nationals, household name retailers and public sector organisations.
The firm’s Indirect Tax practice is a fast-growing and dynamic business. They work to support their portfolio of clients with a variety of Indirect tax issues. Within the team there are specialists in sectors such as Retail, Supply Chain, International Trade, alongside Public Sector specialisms. They work closely with colleagues in Trade & Customs, Corporate and Employment tax to deliver value to the firm’s clients.
The role
Alongside our client’s Indirect Tax practice, they have a fast growing fintech team in the UK, co-lead by one of the firm’s indirect tax partners. The team consists of VAT, tax, legal, regulatory and other specialists that all work closely together on advisory services to the firm’s large fintech client base. The role in question is within the fintech team as an indirect tax specialist.
Key responsibilities
- Providing high quality Indirect Tax advisory services on a broad range of indirect tax issues to a range of fintech clients
- Maintaining, developing and managing the firm’s strong relationships with their fintech clients
- Developing innovative solutions and opportunities for the firm’s fintech clients
- Assisting in the implementation of business development initiatives
- Providing sales support, developing, building and maintaining key fintech client relationships
- Developing more junior members of the team from both a technical and commercial perspective
- Working closely with directors and partners who will provide you with the support and opportunities to assist you in realising your full potential.
Skills and attributes
