Our client is an internationally integrated partnership, specialising in audit, accountancy, advisory, tax, and legal services.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above.
- Be involved in the financial management of clients.
- Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.
- Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen.
- Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges.
- Train, coach, and supervise staff.
- Ability to provide advice and resolve internal and client issues.
- Thorough knowledge with regulatory requirements.
- Ability to focus on client needs and respond to them.
- Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff.
- Motivated and a team Leader.
Skills and attributes
- Minimum of 7-10 years’ recent work experience as an auditor at an International Auditing Firm (Big Four) whilst demonstrating a progression in complexity of auditing and accounting tasks.
- Internationally recognized professional accounting qualifications – ACCA, CPA, CA, ACA or other relevant certifications.
- Fluency in English and Arabic. French is a plus.
- Required nationalities: Jordanian, Lebanese, Tunisian.
- Extensive knowledge of IFRS standards, ISA standards, audit practices, procedures and reporting standards.
- Proven experience on technical accounting and general business issues.
- Industry knowledge and audit best practices to develop an audit strategy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel).
