Quality Assurance, Manager

Location – Dubai, UAE


The role

  • Assist the Quality Assurance Director/HAAQM in enforcing Quality Standards, including ISQM requirements, within the organization.
  • Work closely with the Quality Director to evaluate the SoQM against objectives, policies, and global standards.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to implement SoQM across all operational areas.
  • Aid in developing and executing the Annual Quality Monitoring under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Director.
  • Create and implement a remediation plan to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
  • Provide assistance to quality reviewers as required.
  • Support quality reviewers in conducting reviews and offer constructive feedback to Engagement Partners and teams.
  • Stay informed about emerging audit quality findings.
  • Participate in establishing and monitoring Quality Indicators for the organization.
  • Assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and suggest effective remediation measures.
  • Conduct thematic reviews on complex audit technical subjects.
  • Compile data from monitoring activities for thematic analysis and feedback to the organization.
  • Develop and deliver innovative training sessions.
  • Contribute to discussions on Auditing Standards and methodologies, including responding to relevant consultations.
  • Tailor communications regarding the organization’s size and context for all staff, partners, and findings.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance Director in preparing regular reports to Partnership.
  • Coordinate with the Firm’s Head of Audit and Assurance, Head of Advisory, COO, and service line teams to implement best practices for Quality Management.


Skills and attributes

  • Hold a relevant and recognized accountancy qualification with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate proven auditing skills and a working knowledge of ISAs.
  • Possess excellent communication skills with a strong focus on client satisfaction and relationship-building.
  • Display strong organizational skills and experience in managing multiple projects/tasks.
  • Show a proactive approach to delivering high-quality service to clients.
  • Capable of engaging with various stakeholders and collaborating on projects.
  • Able to produce high-quality output against project objectives within tight deadlines.
  • Ideally, have experience working in a technical team environment, particularly in audit methodology development or monitoring.
  • Willingness to challenge established practices.
  • Have an excellent understanding and practical experience of the audit regulatory environment, coupled with high-level audit technical expertise.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to fostering a positive team environment.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive and dedicated attitude towards team members and partners.
