The role
Our client is looking for a Senior Manager to collaborate within a team of problem solvers to address intricate business challenges spanning strategy to execution. Skills and responsibilities at this managerial level encompass:
- Supervising, guiding, and overseeing multiple client services teams across various engagements.
- Strategizing, executing, and managing M&A projects across diverse industries.
- Nurturing the growth of staff through management, development, training, and mentoring, alongside performance evaluations.
- Facilitating active communication both externally with clients and internally with team members to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, and drive effective change initiatives.
- Actively engaging in business development endeavors to identify and pursue opportunities with both new and existing clients.
- Staying updated on relevant regulatory and business matters.
- Cultivating new competencies beyond one’s comfort zone.
- Taking action to resolve issues hindering team effectiveness.
- Coaching team members, acknowledging their strengths, and fostering ownership of personal development.
Skills and attributes
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation, law, or related fields.
- Six or more years of experience in M&A Tax with outstanding technical proficiency.
- Proficiency in computer usage and mastery of the English language.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional client service and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining outstanding client relationships.
- Strong leadership, business development, training, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver work against tight deadlines.
- Experience in fostering internal and external relationships and networks.
